Good Afternoon: Earlier there was a fox that appeared to have blood on it and may have been rabid. It was seen near the school. The school has not had any information whether the fox has been killed. The administration highly recommends that parents pick up their children. If a community member has information on whether or not the fox has been killed, please call the school. Thanks!

Good Morning Gambell: After working with NSHC and the district, here is the latest information regarding school operations with positive COVID cases. Fully vaccinated and boosted Close Contacts (experiencing no symptoms) do not need to quarantine. They may continue to work or go to school. However, these individuals must test on Day 5 and masks are mandatory for 10 days. If a positive occurs in a classroom, primarily in elementary, students will be sent home and the classroom deep cleaned. Students not experiencing symptoms may return the following day. Students must continue to wear masks.
