Good Morning Gambell School Families. We will continue our lockout until we hear otherwise from either the VSO or troopers. Unfortunately, this means that we will not have Atuq today. Good afternoon: This is an update about the schools current situation. The administration and law enforcement are working together to determine the level of threat to the school. At this time the decision has been made to continue with the "lock-down" of the school until the troopers are able to complete the investigation tomorrow. We will have after school activities teachers will walk the students to the front of the school and parents can pick them up from there. There will be no open gym again tonight. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
No gym tonight, 4/26. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Attention: There was a threat of gun violence to the school and we take every threat seriously. We will remain open tomorrow for school but with extra precautions and will be on high alert. The doors will remain locked and a staff member will stay by the door to allow people in throughout the day.
