Good morning, this Friday we will have atuq 1-1:30 with school dismissal at 1:30. We will have our spring bazaar from 4-8 in the gym.
Sivuqaghhmiini, we will have our regular school atuq today in the gym from 2:00-2:30 and school dismissal at 2:30. Tonight will be the reindeer feast at 5, one with the whale at 6:30, and atuq at 8:00.
Grace Christian will be hosting an assembly from 3:00-3:30 in the gym. Everyone is invited to attend.
The Grace Christian Team would also like to invite you and your family to a special program tonight at 7pm in the school cafeteria. There will be skits, games, a dance performance, and some crafts for the elementary kids. We hope to see you there!
We are well into our last days of the year which means the ABC calendar is on. Also, a few dates to put on the calendar are Prom 5/10, Graduation 5/12, and Last Day 5/17.

We have an exciting week planned for Gambell Schools. Grace Christian is visiting 4/22-4/25. We have a Solar Cell Workshop with Renewable Energy Alaska Project 4/24. We have Yupik Days with guests from Savoonga and Nome 4/25-4/26. We also have the screening of One with the Whale on 4/26 with the cast members and directors.

Our Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade Battle of the Books teams all placed 1st and earned perfect scores in the K-2 Battle of the Books District Qualifiers! They will complete again next week to determine overall grade level winners. Way to go to all of our awesome King Cub Readers and their teachers!

We had a great time honoring our amazing students this afternoon. We had some of the most perfect attendance and high honor roll recipients that we've ever had. We are so proud of our students! We also enjoyed seeing everyone at parent teacher conferences. They are still going until 6pm tonight. We apologize for missing a few awards. If you think your child deserved an award that they didn't get then please reach out to us so we can fix those mistakes. Get up and yell... G-A-M!

We are so excited to congratulate our awesome State Science Fair team of Kiera, Carina, Arabella, and Coach Gladys. Kiera earned a First🥇Place award at state in her project on harmful algae bloom in tepaq. Carina and Arabella earned a Second 🥈Place award for their project on sea ice! Good afternoon, Sivuqaq! We have 3rd Quarter Conferences and Awards on Thursday, April 11th. Awards will be 2:30-3:30 in the gym. Conferences will be 3:30-6:00 in the classrooms. Guardians of Student of the Quarter students will be invited for lunch. We will also have cake and door prizes during the conferences. Hope to see you all there!

Gambell: Caitlin and Colleen will be in Gambell today, Friday April 5th to meet with Project REMOTE Lifelong Learners. They will be at the Gambell school in the library, available now until 3:00pm. It is only a day trip, they will leave at 4:00pm, so please come and see them while they are here. Please bring your laptop and charger, your notebook with passwords, and your cell phone. Caitlin and Colleen can help with learning how to use Zoom, how to email an invoice, and can assist with any other questions you may have.
